Facebook was talking about the possibility of 'dislike' or 'dislike' button for a long time. Of course Facebook did not allow such a butyon that would cause unrest in the social media circles. Instead, emojes came to empower users to express their emotions more easily.
According to the history given by Facebook, the 'like' button is being removed from February 6th. As of this date, 3rd party software developers will be able to redirect their Facebook pages to applications via buttons with their own buttons instead of Facebook like button.
Another remarkable move made by Facebook was the invitation to the application. The application invitation system which has been in use since March of the year of 2015 is also being removed.
